Since from 1890 people of Karnataka and TN not happy with Kaveri water proportion.Agreement has to be modified Karnataka water share should be increased it does not mean that I am from Karnataka supporting blindly. this is fact. As per my knowledge some of points I can share to u. 1: According 1890 & 1924 agreement 59℅ to TN and 37℅ Karnataka & rest is for Kerala ,Puducherry because powerful and big madras provinces (states are not divided same as now) its 50 years agreement (up to 1974) 2: After Independence - New water policy agreement (75℅ water belongs river origin state)had been rejected by TN because previous agreement validity was up to 1974. 3. Both state grow very well and unification Karnataka has done 1973.
